I know I posted this somewhere else but it was buried deep inside some topic so I don't blame you for not beeing able to find it.
The problem is that even if you did find the right spot to adjust the maximum and minimum rotation it would be very hard to notice that you did anything.
The only way you could notice is if you went and moved the barrel to the side and tried to keep going.
The barrel would then shake somewhat like it was glitching around.
This is from the client and server arguing with eachother as to where the turret is actually facing.
The client says that it can not turn anymore but the server says it can so what you end up getting is the turret that continues to turn but you can't see it turning.
So after you turn the turret all the way to the left or right however many degrees you were allowed to originally turn it and keep going you see the turret in a different position then where it actually is.
You can test this by changing the maximum rotation to 180 degrees, then have someone stand behind you(180 degrees away from where the turret is normally aimed), then turn the turret and keep turning it untill the shaking stops. If you fire you will hit your friend behind you even though it only looks like your are looking to the side and you may not be able to even see your friend.
Diagram in case I lost you somewhere:
__/__<--- normal ability of turning on the turret
_____<---- how far you chose the turret to be able to turn to
.....\
after you move the turret to the far right you see the turret as being in this position:
__/__
yet the server sees it being in this positon
______
.....\
