Is it possible to add the ladder using an object spawner? then it would appear clientside.
I don't know if you can spawn a StandardMesh object (Which would be "ladder_10m_m1"), but for example in the guardtow_M1 bundle, the SimpleObject "Ladder_10m" is defined and should be spawneable and therefore visible, I would think.

It should wokr on any con file processed by the server and uplloaded to the client. Since osme .con files cant be modded serveside, i think you cant use em, but you can always try it out :D
I think objectspawtemplates is always being used as it proves reliable.

No connect / client trouble with having it in staticobjects.con as far as I can tell.I had a few people on my basra novelty SP/COOP yesterday.
I always make a point of telling everyone to follow me at least once
as I climb the wall at the gate.Japanese players began calling me
Ninja Herr Lipp before they found out they could use it too :oops:
