Sound is the reflection of an object hitting another object (like a mirror when you see your self)
The (reflection) spreads out in the area, of what power it (colisioned, i really don´t know how to write it in english)
Will result the area it spreads out in, and while the colisioned objects (power) sound hits your ears... The ear part send the signal of the power into your ''music part'' of your brain, i really don´t know if it was the right or left part of it, but it goes in there... And the brain tranform the objects colision force to a ''sound'' and this process activates and ends in a very quick moment...
I don´t know if you understand the information i sent to you but... This is a modding site, so let´s keep it to the topic kk?

Well, vibrations/colision energy of the object hitting another object... Same thing, and... Sound do have mass like mrhowdoimod posted.
It´s easy to give an example, like if you are at a concert in the first line... You will feel a pressure of the sound onto your ''trumm hinnor''
i don´t know what it is in english either but it is the (mirror) wich will make you send the energy (wich got the mass) to your brain trough the ear part...
Do not know if you quite understood, but i think you won´t cry for the answer in your sleep

Sound=Vibrations=Energy=Massless=Has no mass and therefore cannot be multi-dimensional
