Just copy the code for a current kit and update to your liking; base it off a current one.

objects/items/????/****/objects.con

where the ??? is choose something like
-speacial forces
-NVA these are from bfv so change to a bf1942 county like german or something
-ARNV
-USArmy
-USEMarine

and where the *** is choose Assault or recon or engineer or what ever you want to change
