Battlefield Modding Tutorials BFMODS

I am trying to complete this tutorial. I have scanned it several times, but I cant get it to work.

One of the parts that I am not clear on is this

There is a file in the objects directory called "Objects.con.changes.txt" that explains how to change the objects.con file when you add new objects. If you just copy over the objects.con of a new object, then the file will be overwritten and the first object will no longer work. You'll have to add any subsequent entries in the map's objects.con manually by copy and paste from the new object's objects.con.

It sounds like there is another file called objects.con that came with the extracted file, that I need to modify. But I dont see one.

Can anyone help me out? Or show another simpler way to add custom objects.
