ey iced earth... i got it from u -.- and have been modding my maps with turbo with it-.-
u remember when u did the philie map for me...-.- turbo jeeps and rafts and hidden guns
i been using that code-.-
but if some one could send other nitrous that do not sound i would be happy

the reason why you hear sound: The mod file is in your regular 1942 folder, NOT a server or "true testing environment", like I posted in my reply. Server-side you cannot change sound, textures, etc etc.

DO THIS and you will have "NO SOUND TURBO JEEP":

1) COPY your 'Battlefield 1942' folder.
2) PASTE it somewhere. Call it 'Battlefield 1942 2' or something. The name does not matter.
3) PUT your mods in the copy of 1942 folder.
4) RUN dedicated server of copied 1942.
5) JOIN that server from your regular 1942.

Yeah, the idea is that when you mod it on a server, the clients will get turbo but without sound.

If it's client-side then just create a new engine without any sound.
