I have recently used Booms code on spawning a minigun from a mortar. Infact I changed it to spawn other things including a quad, arty, mutt tube and evey vehicles such as a vespa etc.

Whats funny is your able to spawn these things in the sky above the ground if you do one of the following 2 things:

Firstly, if you ride on a huey rocket pod, you can deploy it anywhere in the sky or where ever the huey flies.

Secondly, if you bail from a jet, so long as your movement is upward, you can also deploy it in the sky.

My question is what enables the pco to be deployed so long as your either on the rocket pod or eject from a plane and your motion is going upward?

Well when your soldier starts to fall he begins the falling animation... thus he can't use any weapons. If you're character is moving up then he won't enter the falling animation.

I've noticed people doing this same type of thing with my stationary M60's. They'll jump on top of a vehicle, deploy the stationary M60, and the the vehicle will drive away. The stationary M60 remains floating in mid air As far as I can tell there's really no way to have it drop to ground level... oh well
