Yeah sometimes it does tick me off when a thread goes unanswered. But I wouldn't just up and leave with a nasty post just because of that. Give it some time, sometimes patience pays off.

If you lack patience, then modding is just not for you. Trust me, speaking as a modder myself, you will need plenty of patience before you finally get the final product your aiming for!

Don't expect to get everything you want made for you. Some things you just got to do your self. Like my PoE Mini mod. I wanted to fly the Comanche in BF1942 instead of the crappy BFVietnam game. I looked around and couldn't find a port of it, so...I converted it myself! And look where that got me? I know have a rather large mod thats got a bunch other vehicles and custom maps in it! So a little hard work can go a long way!

Its not that we don't want to help you, but you must understand what this forum is for. Its not a service, where you come, ask for what you want, and the regulars make it for you. Its a learning resource, its for those people who really want to get serious about modding BF1942 or BF:Vietnam, it is a medium with which you can learn, not demand.

If you are willing to take time to read the tutorials, download the tools, try things yourself, and then when you've failed in all aspects you can ask what your doing wrong, and we are more than happy to help you debug your situation.

But don't demand that we should make the map for you, because thats not what we are about, we are about teaching, and learning. We each learn from each-others mistakes and triumphs, and every step we take towards one another advances what we can do with BF1942.

I am one of the leading gurus on here, I can do just about anything you can imagine with bf1942, but that doesn't mean that there are no things I still need help with, in-fact there are people on here who know how to do things I could never hope to accomplish, but wonder at awe in, and its why I stay here, so that when the topic comes around, I can learn that much more, and spread my input on the situation, not to make demands.
