it all works now but when i go online in dc games it crashes while loading is this normal or is something else wrong?

and im getting alot of punkbuster kicks for nothing when i try to update pb it says cantmove a file from temp to ea/bf

Wooooaahhhh, slow down grasshopper. This will happen if you download a mod or a map with a corrupted .rfa or something. This happened to me twice, what you do is (well first BACK YOUR ENTIRE GAME UP) but go into the EA GAMES folder, and DELETE the folder Battlefield 1942 folder. Run the uninstaller. Then run the installer. Then install your mods/custom maps. <For furute reference.
As for your DC problem, I don't know what could be wrong unless you directly modified one of the DC .rfas.
