Id get in to making new weapons and characters and such if people were going to use it. Otherwise it would be just for my personal use on single-player.

Currently my problems are:

Skinning (no not photoshop with textures) but Skinning a 3d Model of a Character so that the bones work properly during animation and the character actually moves well. No matter how hard I try I can't seem to get these to export correctly.

Little off topic....
Can I use custom models and animations for weapons in my game, that will work on any non-pure content check server? As long as, say, the model and animations are named for a a BAR, I can have a P90?
(Yes I have a fully animated P90 model)
Or more practically, use a similar weapon's mesh from another mod? Like a FH/SW G43 for type5? Or.... basicly, replace any weapon's mesh, animations, and sounds with any other, as long as the files are renamed to be the same, and it should work, right?

Yes, you just cant modify the weapons characteristics..if you replace a BAr with a P90 its still a BAR just looks like a P90

Ok, so I did it. I replaced the P38 with a M9. But...It doesn't exactly work. The Skin is misplaced, it looks to have pieces of both models in it (WTF!!!) and other things are wrong. I don't know what I did wrong but something is definitely not right. The only thing I did right was the sounds. It works perfectly. Sounds a little wierd in 3p but its fine. The problem is that everything else is messed up like hell. I haven't the first clue where to start...
