I am using battlefield server manager to host a server everything is okay except that i cant get on my server
i get error connecting and its sends me back to the server list
help please!

If you are on the same physical computer, do not use the external IP address and instead use 127.0.0.1

hi can you tell me if there is any other way than port forwarding that, will help me host a server, and remove all the disconnections i get with port forwarding?

I thought Why already had input on this. It's probably your service provider. Some internet providers don't want people to host any kind of server on a home internet connection, so they may block common ports, like W2K said. The way around this would be to upgrade to their business connection or find another one that allows you to host servers. You might even want to contact your current ISP to determine if they do, in fact, not allow you to host servers. That way you know if it's their fault or something on your end.

And to answer the question about port forwarding: if you're behind a router, then your options are to port forward or do a DMZ. Otherwise you will have to take out the router and directly connect your computer to the internet.
