Update:
Fixed the weapon animations. I found out that I needed to copy ALL the animation files for the SA-7, and rename them to match the name of the new weapon. I also made copies of related entries in the AnimationStatesMod.con and singleShotWeaponsMod.inc files. Apparently the file names and the related animation con files link everything to the name of the weapon and if the name of the weapon the soldier is holding gets changed, it brakes all the animations. After I made all copies and updated filenames, my Guided Stinger Launcher is now held properly by the soldier. Changing the projectile does not brake animations as I have now found out.
However, I STILL need help on how to prevent the guided stinger missile from killing stuff when colliding with them.
