The weapons system is a little different in 1942 and I don't know what you can and can't do. Sorry. I'd suggest posting your init.con and ost.con for further inspection.

Of course, now the bombs on fighters will be all WTF HUGEEEEE.

But then again, most bombs are larger than the game puts out.
