Yes, that will almost work.
Stick that line to projectile will you!
Did something simular to boobtraps, added some line extra and I got a tank snatcher.
Stick one on tower of tank and wait for it to self explode, driver dunno what hit him, dead as a door nail.

Man, I WISH you could spawn projectiles...I had an idea for a "martyr" kit like in COD4...when you die, your kit spawns a grenade. Too bad it wouldn't work. You could always .addTemplate a objectspawner and tool around with different things, lol.

edit: or have people already done that with soldier spawns? (addTemplate to a kit)

Think I asked and got a negative answer on adding spawners to soldiers.
A while back I managed to make an Ontos spawn out of a Sheridan when it exploded, clientside only.

On some maps I have suecide bombers running around, kill em and he will blow everything up inside a 5 meter radius.
Not nice to knife them either, hurts like hell.
Sort of what your after, but I think your looking fot a time delay on explosion.

Side effect, if he's in a vehicle when he dies, oh man, that hurts twice as much. As topgunner on a tank he will explode the hole tank.
