Hi there,

Could anybody tell me what I can change in a BF1942/FH level, without having our guest players to download new maps. So what are my possibilities with true serverside modding?

Thats like asking for all the words in the dictionary that has z somewhere in it. So many iffy things here and there, no one could list em. Use the tutorial, and ask specific questions.

So you mean that all the How to's are actually only for SSM?

The problem is I gues that BF1942 keeps crashing everytime.
I don't know if the origin lies in the modding I am doing or in
the fact that I am altering a specific map that uses the basic
BF1942 map and adds a mod to it (FH's Market Garden).

I guess that clearing all spawn- and controlpoints and it's
templates is too much. Or can I freely define new one's?

This is a good guide. You can move flags/spawnpoints. You cannot delete/add to them. You can't rename them. You can't change their radius. etc etc. Baby steps at a time. Install the local server so you can test that way.

You can change some things in ObjectSpawnTemplates.con, but not all. you cannot add a Spawner, but you can change the vehicles under a spawner. You can even do setteam 3,4,5,6,7,8.
