You need to provide a little more info.

Were you going fast when you blew up?

Might wanna lower the objecttemplate.speedmod

It would be good for you to use the upside down and crit damage. You should also put the speed mod at 0.5, because if its 0, you can run into anything at full speed and not die.

ObjectTemplate.damageFromWater 0
ObjectTemplate.speedmod 0.1

ObjectTemplate.Active KubelwagenEngine
rem ObjectTemplate.setTorque 10.5
ObjectTemplate.setTorque 20.5
