Look in BFV section, there you have your answer to this question.
Weapons can be changed, but it will look like it hasn't.
Graphic can't be changed serverside you know.
It's better to tweak projectiles to do what ever damage.
Less buggy feeling of game.

And btw, your code is very wrong. ;-)

Parachute is included in a file called soldier.inc or something.
Dunno if you can see the line include soldier.inc.
