If it's a custom map, it's a custom map.
Anything goes.
This particular custom map is made in two differant rfa files=your client only have half map.
And spawns behind Tank works super.
I think it's about 8 spawns on each flag, 3 are removed and put on tanks from that flag. You will randomly spawn on tank and random at flag. If you look carefully on spawnmap with spawn icon on, you will see it moves when tank moves.
Spawn icon is always in center of all spawnpoints in that group. That's how I know it works.

If it's a standard map, patchfile is the key to make it serverside.

And yes, I hate when people make custom maps and say it's SSM code on them! :shock: :shock: :shock:
It's CSM code for g@#%$&*@!d sake.

Sorry if you took offence mate. :cry: You mentioned that it may work serverside, and it didn't, so I posted the results...

OK, I obviously didn't see the new spawn [ :? ] so I'll go take another look. It's a nice map mate !
EDIT: nvm, found it

May I venture to ask, what are your thoughs on possible server side code? Please don't shoot me down, I don't really know much...

Nothing to do with you. Sorry if you took it wrong.

Adding flag serverside will probebly work, if done correctly. ;-)
Looks like everything you do couse a crash.
This is normal in the beginning.
You just learning the limits now.

Limits are as follows;
Everything you do wrong, couses a crash.
Everything you do right, doesn't.

OK, no worries mate. I've gotten a few SSMs to work, such as firing zero's from a knife; but as you very well know, these aren't mods I've had to write myself.

Can you think of any sort of code I can use to replicate what you've done as a SSM for BF1942? I'd love to get this working; so far, this is all I've achieved - crashes :(

Well you should be able to...Its the Same Exact Engine, with just a few tweaks. Refractor 2 retained all its capabilities from the original BF1942, they just added Helicopters and New Ray Tracers to support Normal Maps.

It's not working in BF1942, when vehicle dies that has the flag, game dies with it. Sorry. :cry:

Try WWII mod for BFV.
