hardrock, it was more of an observation that a site that is based on community help, people learning about modding, and sharing the learned info, has a post about being paid to mod. To me it seems out of place, that is all. Nothing more. I don't have any real problem with it, it's really not my concern. As I said it just seemed out of place. Nothing more.

I find it odd that people are willing to pay for stuff as simple as this. Modding the refractor engine bearly even qualifies as scripting and comes no where near what programming is. But I guess if they are willing to pay that is thier own fault.

I remember a while ago somebody offered $10 to get a very simple mod done, and one of the forum members said that they shouldn't bother paying for what they could learn to do easily. They made a new topic and taught him how to do what he wanted to. That's really what this website is about, a good (and free) resource for people who want to mod BF1942/BFV.

I've made free mods for people and I've also been payed to do a couple. Nothin wrong with either.
