Hey guys, Iam actually working on new POE maps and new feature,
I would like to get the Napalm explosion on the 2 place of the Bradley against infantery. Blow the hell out by poeple defending flags.
Do U think it can work?

Any commentare or help would be apreciate,

Visual no, effectwise yes.
Just change projectiles to napalm.

Will it act and behave strange? Yes.

Note that ppl can move a bradley and attack with it aswell.

Hi Urglub,
the rocket (skin) at the 2 second place stay same, when the rockets get to his target, it should make a napalm explosion, blow fire everywhere

I think for whose people camping at flag should have a nice BBQ...

Sry for the Noob question, what is ppl? Iam quite new here and thanks to Boom that gave me your great Modding site with lot of good infos about modding.

Urglub can you tell me which files do I need to enter that I change the Projectiles to Napalm.

If you haven't done a patchfile you can see how to do one on this link.
It even tells you where code should go, into ObjectSpawnTemplate.con (short version is OST.con)
Then in upper right corner you have a for newbies, it's mostly for Desert Combat, but it's the same way to do it in BFV.

So the Nappalm Script is in POE inside, Visual also,
Does that mean it is possible serverside to change effect for example at A10 when bomb explode?
Should i look into the map weapon files to change it?

By new maps, you mean you make them from scratch or you wanna tweak some POE maps.
I asumed you where talking about ServerSide.
When I get my modding computer in order I can help you a bit better, missing a table to put it on now.

ClientSide: Download needed.
If it's your own map you can do what ever with it.
You can even have napalm fire coming out of soldiers behind when they run.
As you probebly saw on my maps you downloaded, I played with whatever on them.

ServerSide: No download needed.
If it's a POE map you can't change graphic or effects.
No possible way to change A-10's bombs graphicly or effectwise. Damage and force you can change.

Every version of BF1942/BFV including mods are basicly the same. Most code works on both versions. You will find codes for the most amazing things on this site. Use them wisely.

yes iam talking serverside, we have now 2 POE server running the normal 1 and the serverside tweak map, on the custom server is also Custom map running ( such as Blue Nile River Swamps of Sudan...etc...),that I tweak serverside also:

In the Mappack they are rfa files that just be added to levels foleder of POE.

Any help or tips and tricks are welcome because iam still in the beginning status, this website was told me from Boom at TKO, and iam feeling at home here
U guys are making a great job, and it makes really fun modding serverside, it give a kick and change the way U play.

All the tips and codes here are great help, and i thank U all for helping me and other new Noob modder
