Because of Mods like Desert Combat and FH BF1942 Will be Played for a Good While More. And Of SSM Mods like Some People here do. I will continue to play this as long as someone is on the servers. Because its the game that got me into gaming. I was originally gunna by an RTS game, and when i saw this i thought it would be cool. I bought it. Couldnt Run it At First, but thats when i got my first Gaming Computer, got DSL a few months later and i was hooked to Online Gaming Forever.
I think BFV Also is a diamond in the Rough. BFV Had more potential for successful mods like Desert Combat, because it introduced things like Heat Seaking and all this, and the Use of Normal Maps which just makes BFV look Beautiful. And when BF2 Came out with all this and More, well people went to it instead of BFV. Even Though BF2 Has Major Bugs that DICE and EA dont seem to wanna Adress because of 2142. BFV and BF1942 Will always Remain at least to me the Greatest Battlefields Of All Time. for a few reasons:
Gameplay, More Fun and More Entertaining, Dont See Many SSM Servers on BF2 and 2142. Infact, SSMing bf2 and 2142...is like...Learning how to Write C++
Easier To Mod, Like Above.
Less Lag, (Never Seen Pings So High in Any Game as in BF2 or 2142 its Rediculous)
