however when i start the server to test the maps, the modded maps are a no show.
yes i copied the new maps into the archive maps folder.

so... i load the modded maps into the folder, and all that the server plays is vanilla bf.

I can get the server to run only by using bfserver manager.
if i go to run dedicated server, i cannot add maps. the button is greyed out.

all the maps i have are dc, but there is no selection for that in the drag down menu.
i have bf 1942, secret weapons and rtr.
so what am i not doing right?
the write up in the tutorials does not cover this aspect at all.

you should probably post what you did to fix the issue. Nothing is worse than searching forums for an answer. Finding your same problem and the only solution is "HIP HIP HOORAY I FIXED IT"
