from what i see the code ...

the depthcharge projectile sinks under water surface and does it damage below water level.

however, the effect remains visible at water surface.

In this case that means , don't believe what u see ...
since the effects and the actual collision calculation are 2 different ballgames.

so in theory collisionon watersurface needs to be on, to keep the depthcharge from going below. then the damage from water needs to be zero in order to keep it bouncing around.
