Ok, has anyone else had the problem with ladders where theyre reversed or "trick ladders". (You get it one side and it flips you around the ladder and you climb up the opposite side you started on). Well i am having this problem in almost all the maps i make and its very annoying because it makes it so i can't use ladders without having them be very stupid. So does anyone know if you can fix this and if so, how?

BTW: This is client side, bf1942, custom map

You can only climb on one side of ladder.
Put wrong side out and you climb on inside.

No no, i dont think you get what im saying. Sometimes when i put in ladders via battlecraft they are very messed up and you get on the ladders normally but it flips your player around and you climb up the wrong side. If you want i will attach my map that i am having this problem so you can see for yourself ingame. And than if i flip the ladder i cant climb up it at all.

Your problem is with rotation.

Rotate 0/0/180 from whatever it's set to now and it'll probably be ok.

Nope, i'm stilling having the problem. If you dont know what i mean then download the map and put a ladder right out in the open and try climbing both sides.

U can't climb both sides.

You might be able to add another ladder right next to the original one, but that's about it. I don't have 1942 so i can't check, sry.

Ladder is total wrong for that place.
It should be turned 180 degree, just as I said.
You have rotation 0/0/0, it sould be 180/0/0.
And it's about 4 meters to long.
You can only climb down on it that way, not up.
But it could be your wish.

When I tested map I had to take my skates on.
Normally I can play BF1942 in 2048*1536 high on everything.
Now I tested with 1024*768 and it felt like walking on ice.
Massive overload with sidewalks there.

The sidewalks are a little much i know, but i've never had problems with them. But do you see what i mean? Put a ladder in the middle of the underground hallway thing and try climbing each side, one side you can NOT climb up and the other when you climb it it switches you and makes you climb the opposite side you started on.

Don't worry about helping me any more because i think its just a bug in the map so i guess i'll use somethin else besides ladders. Thanks for the help though.
