I don't know of a way to create a death zone at a given altitude but i do know a way to alter the Density of the Air at a given altitude which will cause planes to stall. You can essentially set the max height a plane can go before it loses control.

Once the plane reaches the set altitude the Air Density is too low and the engine stalls.

So if you want to prevent planes from going too high could always set it lower... or if you rather have it so planes can fly higher with no stalls a setting of say "1e5" or "100000" would work well.

interesting, what keeps the planes in bf1942 from going unlimited height ?

The jets in DC stall, the helicopters don't ...

Could you give the clouds collision physics and raise them to a certain height? I'd say about 9 of them could cover the whole map.

I believe the flightceiling code is only used for choppers in bfv.
