No need to active twice...
Just do:

ObjectTemplate.Active MuttComplex
ObjectTemplate.RemoveTemplate 11 >???
ObjectTemplate.AddTemplate Engine HueyAssault_Main_Engine

But this won't remove the engine :?

"I'm pretty sure" doing removeTemplate 11 will remove the steer wich you don't want...
When using removeTemplate: start to count all addTemplate from zero...

so maybe thats the reason the helicopter controls dont work and normal jeep controls work, all i can do is rudder and thrust (not throttle, but w and s keys)
would i need to remove steer dummy and put a huey's steering dummy?

it acts like a chopper.. ill try this to see if it works... maybe thats also y the wheels are still there from the jeep?

ijm also "pretty sure" it starts at 1 instead of 0. but im justa noob. y believe me?

In desertcombat the desert patrol vehicle flys around like that. Maybe tweek that code to work on the mutt. Just a thought :lol:

Hmmm i think the steering dummy is just what you see when you drive...
Anyway a chopper has 4 engines; main engine, but also a tail engine, a pitch engine and a roll engine...
So you need to look in phisics.con from UH1Assault to see how they get to work, then set engines positions on your jeep maybe?
If you remove the mutt engine that will remove its wheels as well cause they're attached to the engine so you will need to re-add them on the object itself
Looking in the object.con you'll see frontwhells wich are just the animated things you see in game
they added those to the frontsprings defined in physics.con where you'll find the backsprings too. so leave it as it is
Maybe you can remove engine (10) try that first and you should see your jeep just dancing on the ground making collision sounds till it will explode...if not... that means engine with its wheels is still there!
If you succeed then active mutt and add this lines took from physics.con:

ObjectTemplate.addTemplate MuttFrontWheelL
ObjectTemplate.setPosition -0.669/-0.6/1.269
ObjectTemplate.setrotation 0/0/0
ObjectTemplate.addTemplate MuttFrontWheelR
ObjectTemplate.setPosition 0.669/-0.6/1.269
ObjectTemplate.setrotation 0/0/0

ObjectTemplate.addTemplate MuttBackSpringR
ObjectTemplate.setPosition 0.669/-0.932/-0.885
ObjectTemplate.addTemplate MuttBackSpringL
ObjectTemplate.setPosition -0.669/-0.932/-0.885

Don't forget to active the 4 springs and set them to "ObjectTemplate.Grip c_PGFDummyGrip"

This should put back the wheels despite the engine is gone.
Then add the 4 UH1 engines at the right place and let's see!
Have fun :)

well, ive already got the engines. and i used the huey wheels. (idk what their for.)

but i stil jsut need one thing:

one of ma budys says i changed the vehicle type wrong.

heres the magical changing line:
ObjectTemplate.VehicleCategory VCAir

helicopter or air controls dont work. only the jeep controls, which are basically gone. heres what it does:
w = flys up
s= flys down
d = rudder right
a= rudder left
mouse = look

thats all that works
so how would i change the vehicle type?
