PAK40 into KHARKOV??

Hi guys

Ive ploughed through the forums but cant find an answer anywhere. I am trying to import the PAK40 into a standard 42 Map - Kharkov

I have extracted the Kharkov.rfa files (including the _00X ones) into a folder on desktop and i have extracted Liberation Of Caen (which features the PAK40) into a folder on the desktop...but i am stuck as to which folders i need to copy over to the Kharkov folder and which .con files, if any, i need to edit

Can anyone help :?:

Hey Ric, I actually just ran into this problem myself.

Unfortunately I don't think there's any easy solution. The problem is the PAK40 is in liberation_of_caen.rfa, NOT Objects.rfa. This is why the JU88 german bomber can't be used on other maps; same dilemma. Since you're not loading that maps RFA file, as far as 1942 is concerned it doesn't exist.

I think the only solution is spawning mobile arty. You could always lock it in place so it doesn't move.

In my case I just spawned a defgun on top of a building. Of course this is only the turret, so it doesnt look TOO weird..haha. Just run into the building, hold e under it and presto! Defgun.
