See I think the problem might be that they are "mounted" weapons if I'm not mistaken.I don't know much about that ..I tried spawning the ships mainguns on land and I couldn't get it to work...maybe the issues are related??

perhaps your right. I tried moving an existing aa gun but that didnt work either for some reason. I was on a server once where they had added aa guns to midway server side.If I could remember what server it was I could possibly ask them how they did it, but I`m sure they wouldnt tell how they did it.Oh well I`ll keep messing with it I might get lucky and figure it out. First I have to figure out why just unpacking and repacking without changing anything causes the game to crash after the bf splash screen.
