I've never used it. What sort of crash is it? Does the game crash straight away or can you get to the menu screen or does it just crash when you load the map?

if I start in vanilla, then try to switch mod to DC Final, then after i click on the switch button, it goes straight to desktop, no meassage, no error sound, nothing in-game or in windows. If i try starting straight into DC Final, I get the Battlefield 1942 image (the one when you start BF; the black and white image with the Tank Track and the helmet and the BF1942 logo), then nothing. I monitored processes while loading it and as soon as the images disappears, the process ends as well. Thanks for your help so far.

The same thing happens if you rename the file, maybe check through the file to see if it has been renamed incorrectly.

Otherwise I guess you will have to host it somewhere so it can be downloaded and looked at.
