If anyone here has some experience with map creation, including all of the customization of .con files and new objects, please contact me with some help on how to get my new map play-able.

Problem is, I started to create my map using Editor42, which I know find out was a bad move on my part, since Editor42 doesn't really have the capability to make entire maps on it's own. I then tried to load my map into bc42, to try and finish it up. The next problem was that the hightmap was all screwy. It seemed way way smaller than normal. Maybe something do to with map size on bc42? I don't know. But now my map doesn't load at all into bc42. It seems to stop and crash whenever it gets to the loading of the map's objects.
Now my map does contain new objects, which I think is the problem.
Maybe I need to add my new objects, mesh and texture into bc42 using bf1942.lst file? This is my first map and I really never used bc42 or any other map creator that much, and I really don't want to start over, after I've done so much.

Thanks

I don't think adding the objects to the .lst won't help since the meshes and such aren't in the bf1942 objects and meshes and textures .con. Toy around with the locations to fine tune them where they should be. I have no experience with editor 42, I thought that was for final tweaking, which I'm not that worried about.

I thought that when new vehicles were added, it just didn't load them in BC42 and brought up a box saying "I'm too stupid to find these in the map, so these are missing" and loads the other stuff and loads the new items as gray boxes.

So...what are you trying to do in BC right now, and are you able to copy the objectspawns to a file, delete the modded stuff, do what you need, and then put them back in when you're done?

If you have too much trouble, check your PMs, I'll send you my email address, and if you need me to look into it, send me the map and I'll try to look at it within a week.
