Hello, I'm new here to the site and new to map modding altogether.
I've read your tutorial on how to make CTF maps out of non-ctf maps, but I'm a little stuck on some things.

I think I've got the flag poles down and working, but my problem is with the spawn points. And since the tutorial is for DC, there are some differences with reg bf1942.

I don't quite understand why you must make an object spawner with some objects not related to the map. I understand that these are for soldier spawns, but how does a vechicle spawn become a soldier spawn?

So far I have the option to choose Market Garden (map I'm making CTF out of), but the server will never start and it crashes.

Any pointers?
