This may be a stupid question, but I don't play CTF that much cuz I find the maps are too big for my liking.

So I'm working on a CTF map in which I'd like to make it so the flags are up in the air and you just need to fly in a plane relatively close to them to grab them and then fly back to your base and fly relatively close to your flag to capture it. But I've found that when I'm in a vehicle it doesn't allow me to grab the flag. (Like I sed I've never played CTF b4)

Is there a way that:

A) I can make it so I can grab the flag while in the plane

B) Increase the area surrounding the flag from which it can be picked up?

Radius is actually vertically, such as this diagram shows:



As you increase it, the top and bottom move furthur from the flag, so you can pick it up when above the flag. I am not sure of the around radius.

I though radius was spherical. Sorry dont have a pic, but think of the flag pole in the middle of a ball and the distance from the pole to the outer edge of the ball is the radus. It extends in all directions the same distance, the raidus.

For CTF though I think there might be a glitch (intentional?) where you must be on the ground to take a flag. I had a similar problem with Battle Of Fire, you could hover all you like right on the flagpole, but you still had to land take the flag.

Another thing to remember is that the flags radius is from the base of the
pole, not the entire pole.

I dotn think its a glitch you cannot grab a flag when inside a vehicle. What do you think waht happens if you go past it when inside a guided rocket? or a jet plane. Scores of 456 wont make the gmae very interesting anymore
But to aanswer A), no you cant, its hardcoded
