Which version of BF2 are yo urunning, I run 1.03. I know I am not the only one to notice this issue. It doesnt seem to matter which mod either (I have tried a few). And it is not just the oil towers, as it will miss helos and aircraft alike (this was tested with hovering aircraft, ie uh60 and f35b). If the stinger is pointed right at it, ie a streight shot, it will hit (obviously), but if it is fired off to one side (well within the homing correcatbility) it will still go streight and not hit its target.
From what you say, it appears to only affect certain people/servers. That is very interesting. Intermittant bugs are a huge pain.
