Battlefield Modding Tutorials BFMODS

I'm having a similar problem. I modded a few maps and sent them to our server admin. He is working with them right now trying to add them in, but he said there was some kind of problem with the remote server manager not recognizing any of the maps. I don't have any more info than that. He asked if these maps need to be installed as a seperate mod by themselves, I said I didn't think so. I had him on teamspeak and he said he was gonna work on getting them to show up, but last I heard was about 45 mins ago so I'm assuming there's a problem. Wasn't sure if our sever was a linux or win box so I lowercased the file names.
Anybody heard of such a prob? I'll post more info when I get it.

This is probably a Linux & Sever-Manager issue. I hope we nail this down, because it is an issue for all of us. Try to lower-case all of the rfa filenames.

Ok, this gets a bit stranger. I rebooted the server. I then tried to play generic BF42 Gazala and it works just fine. Tried DC Gazala (no mods) and still crashing to the desktop. Swapped out the map that was posted. Now it won't load the server whatsoever. That's just plain weird.

Ok, I thought, I'll fix you! So I uninstalled the server completely and reloaded it. Played BF42 Gazala first just for grins. Works just fine. Started loading DC Gazala and "poing" back to the desktop. Funny, one of my other computers loaded it and ran it just fine. Others that tried to connect also got dumped to the desktop. This is WITHOUT the mod files.

As much as I like Gazala and I had it pretty much just the way I wanted it (played just fine on my "player" computer), I guess I'll just give up.

Unless somebody has heard of this and has a fix.........

Oh, BTW, I use BBO to manage the server if anybody thanks that matters.
