Hi guys,

Just hopping on the forum to inform you that I've just finished a modified map specially designed for team training

Indeed often we could not find a map suitable for a good tank training.
Aberdeen and El-Alamein were too big and you would spend most of your time travelling rather than shooting. Other maps have only 1 or 2 tanks available.

I have therefore decided to modify Aberdeen to make it a trully train map for practicing tank squadron manoever.

I have moved the Axe and Allies bases closer to down-town and made them uncapable.
I have shorten the respawn time for tanks
I have destroyed the city and built instead a Mauresque Forteress
I have equipped this forteress with Brownings, PAK40 (the Anti tank gun as in Caen), and AAguns.
I have added Jeeps and Planes (3 fighters and 2 bombers each side).
To trigger ticket fall MUST take control of Fortress + 1 point.

We have played the map already 2 evenings with other teams and came to the following conclusions :
>> Can be used for tank training up to 10 vs 10 and really good for learning teamplay (covering, rounding movements aso...)
>> Can be used for Plane training , either in dog fight or in precision bombing (lots of ground targets fixe or moving)
>> When played "no rules" , every class is having fun. First Map I've played with true Assault combat within building (to take control of the fortress), forcing team to combine air and ground operation.

Last advise, Server should be set in : Content Check Mode = Off

Off-Course the Server Map is equipped with SSM Anti-Base-Camp Bubble.
And .... to motivate fighters I've added ... Rock&Roll speakers in each bases
