Do I need to rename the original gazala.rfa to something else and the downloaded one to gazala.rfa or how does it work ? cuz when I put the downloaded file (gazala_001.rfa) in the folder, it doesn't work, and when I rename it to gazala.rfa it still doesnt work (talking bout a local server (lan)).

If I set up such a dedicated server, can I join the game too using the default steps to start up BFDC ?

The gazala_001.rfa file should be placed in the levels directory from the mod your playing, in this case DCX. It should reside where the original gazala.rfa file is.

You can play on your own dedicated server if you want to. The best you can do is creating a ded. server, and use a separate pc to jon in, just like all the other people would do. You can join the server on the same computer too, but then you get the same effect like using a non-ded. server, or even worse.

You NEVER rename the original .rfa map files in the levels folder that came with the game or mod.

The file we made is sometimes downloaded with additional numbers and letters that were added by the file hosting website.
Simply rename our file to Gazala_001.rfa


When you used our file, did you see all the good DCX jets there ?

Yes all da jet's and so are there, And It works and so but players can not join the gazala map like if i switched the map from berlin to gazala, All of da players would get removed.
