I'll be the first to say that I'm thrilled that DC-F at least made an effort to make all of the maps CTF compatible. But the amount of IM's I'm getting from people on the server is driving me nuts. So far, the flags are reversed from the bases on Omaha Beach (never though this would make a good CTF map, but people seem to like it now). The main bases are cappable on Urban Siege (makes for a short game). I know there was one other, but it slips my mind. Maybe we could have a thread with other "known issues" between DC-F and CTF. Here is my versions of the first two fixes. Also includes AT2 to AT on Omaha Beach. On Urban Siege I gave the Colition an Apache and a Linebacker, on Opp I added a Gaskin. Gave both sides a DPV. And moved the Opp flag from the higrise to the main Opp base. I was going to put this in the "Questions" board, but since it is mostly a rant, I figured the general area would be better. |

I don't think they play tested the CTF maps at all. On Al Nas and Al Nas day two CTF the allies are sporting an Iraqi flag. Open the CTF.con file, you'll see a line that reads like this. rem *** CREATE FLAG BASES *** object.create sobase Object.absolutePosition 502.7209/26.41567/137.5162 Object.Rotation 0/0/0 It should read like this rem *** CREATE FLAG BASES *** object.create ukbase Object.absolutePosition 502.7209/26.41567/137.5162 Object.Rotation 0/0/0 Thanks guys this site rocks. |

for one DPVs are fun, and also fairly universal, is it not concievable for iraqis to have a dune buggy with a machinegun mount? really, theres nothing wrong with that one, its when they start throwing tons of them around or start giving oppo bradlies and col t72s or mirages that it gets stupid, the dpv thing is fine, even giving iraq a humvee is somewhat acceptable but id never do that
