Ok, I opened up a brand new computer for christmas this year, a Dell laptop. I have a desktop computer that I ussually do all my modding on and everything I use for modding works great on there. Before I started any modding on this computer I fired up bf1942 which seemed to run smoother and faster then on my desktop which is an xp. I then Installed bc1942 from my disk set. it installed fine but it Crashes when I open up a level or make a new one. Image.jpg and even though I installed it from the same disk it seems to be a better version.... On my desktop it doesn't show fog. on here it did right before it crashed. anyways i'm running Vista (which I hate) but it's all I can do. so how would I go about fixing this problem? |

Well, Dell is the best computers around...but that message means it needs an OpenGL extension to work. If the computers graphics card wasn't upgraded (nVidia, Radeon, etc) it 1) may not have openGL or 2) if it does it's not good enough for BC. You need a new graphics card for it to work. |

I'm sorry. I meant i'm not sure how to check to see if my graphics card has an openGl Extension. i'm going to google a couple things. I might possibly be able to switch out the graphics card of my desktop with the one in here. |

Well I just checked and I have a Mobile Intel(R) 965 express chipset family... yeah I would say I might want a better graphics card..
