yeah i got that eventually hehe. did some quick tests but all i managed to do was starting up 2 servers with the same ports

BF1942 Vanilla here How can I run multiple servers from one installation? I can get several up on the same port (useless), but that's about it. Essentially the ONLY thing that needs to be changed between them is the port. IP is the same, name is the same, ALL configs are the same, etc. They can load all that from Mods\BF1942\Settings\ServerSettings.con, that is fine. The best solution here is somehow to have a -port or +port or something command line switch from BF1942_w32ded.exe, but so far I can not find such a thing. Don't even ask why I'm doing this... (lol) But yeah, any ideas? |

I am not using a server manager software here though, I'm starting normally through the dedicated server EXE. The port I am talking about is the server itself, 14567 default. |

I can get 10 on the same port, but only one is actually valid. They all show on the in-game list, but when you refresh they all ping 9999 except one, which is valid and can be joined. Does anybody know of an IP limit? I can only get 10 BF1942 servers on the ingame list from the same IP, even with totally different installations and ports. |

I get servers that have a 9999 ping all the time and i still join. |
