Ok, I don't have internet conn, but I want to play BF2142 sooo bad. My question is- do you just need internet to register the game after you buy it or is it needed even to just play it  , even just in singleplayer  . I mean, is this thing that...no internet-no play at all...whats the deal?  I know i'm late on this topic but I'm sorta isolated,  so I don't understand how this works.

Let me see here! Hmm.... Offline acount, what can that be? Or this part is gone for 2142? Ever heard about Internet clubs? But I doubt they have BF2 or BF2142. So you got an urge to play 2142, it must be like smoking, not good for Ya.

Hey, once you register your account on bf2142 you can play offline whenever you want. I had this problem when i first got 2142 because we didnt have any internet at that time. |

Dude it's 2008, everyone should have an internet connection. I've had mine since 94-95. How did you post this thread anyways, with telekewhatsis? Get with the times, bro! |

Ok, you're th only one saying this. You mean you registered your purchased game online, then they what, gave you a code for your game so you could play it. Let me rephrase......I go buy the game. I register the game at work....I go home and install the game with some sort of code number access allowing me to play?

I don't understand. What problems are you running into when you try to play the game in single player mode? |

I haven't bought the game yet......under the beleif that if you do not have internet you cannot play. So are you saying that you can buy the game off the shelf, install it and play it, that its not like some games that require that nasty STEAM program which won't even allow you to install it without internet?

I'm pretty sure you can play singleplayer without having to connect to the net. I would be more concerned about your current drivers and other things. |
