I downloaded the Dedicated Server for Tribes Aerial Assault (PS2) so i can host a server for it, but i set everything up and the server isn't on the server list.
I have tried DMZ it, didn't work.
I have tried port-forwarding it, didn't work...but i probably did it wrong, how do i do it?

The server use to show up on the list, but stopped a couple months ago.

DMZ essentially opens all ports directly to that one machine, it's forwarding every port. So DMZ will always work.

Just a thought, if you are trying to see it on the server browser on the PS2 on the same network as the server PC, it will not show up. It's the same problem with "internet" servers on one PC trying to be found by other PC on the network, they have to use internal 192.168 addresses to connect, and thus those do not show in server browsers. Other people outside of your home/router will see it even if you do not.

Hmmm.
So even if i can't see the server with it DMZ'd, other's can? Then why can i see it like 20% of the time?

And i use to always be able to see it.

Is there any way I can make the server appear on the browser list? I mean, sometimes it does...most of the time it doesn't, plus you can't just type in the server ip to join a server.

I have it port-forwarded, plus DMZ'd, maybe i should only have it doing one of them?

could it be because of slow internet on my side? When i do see the server up, and get in, it is fine, no lag...but soon after it will start lagging (Brother downloading porn) and then kick me out, then not show it on the list.

My download bandwidth is 2.5 --- when it is good i am at 3.5

I think you aswerd your own question with your question.
DMZ is enough btw.
DMZ removes every protection in router.
Port forwarding is overkill.
But if your out of bandwith, you'll be kicked from server and your server will not show on the serverlist.
Pretty simple actually.

If your bigger then your brother hit him.
If your smaller, tough luck.
Survival of the fittest you know....

And edit works.

If your download speed is 2.5, it is.
3.5 is probebly with compression or because you count wrong.
Bit Bite 1024 not 1000 and 8 not 10.
