Battlefield Modding Tutorials BFMODS

ok, im not one thats so set in my ways that i caint back up. out of curiosity, thanks to iced and some others, i tried one more time to fiddle with battlecraft42. after carefully reading what little instructions came with it, i figured out how to do some very "low level" stuff with it. but i can see as clear as day how it can be a useful tool, so i was wrong, it is'nt a "crappy" program, i was just a crappy operator. , i only used it for BF42, i now will go about trying to figure out how to use it with DC, DC_F, DCX, and DCFX. it beats the hell out of having to start the game, use console.showstats, write all that down, close the game, etc., so thank you ICED, and the others, and in general the server side modding community,from not knowing how to install Battlefield 1942 to now, i have come a long way, thanks mainly to you all.....peace and love yall!

I agree. Without it, I wouldn't be able to work on the pacific map I'm making!!

edit: I actually thought about making a basic 'dummies' sort of guide to using BC, but I remembered it came with a tutorial..

LOL yeah man i think its 500. We got a bit of a ways to go yet.

For sure man...I still have to place vehicles, AA, defguns, etc and soldierspawns....and trees.. ( )...but yeah, for sure!

This was the first map I made completely by scratch. I ran into a few brick walls with BC (things that weren't covered in the tut), but its really coming along. I hope it turns out well. I'll post a link when I'm done!

sorry if i started this in the wrong section. was trying to spark some interest in BC after messin with it for the first time. it did help me with a map, mainly just positioning, still need to know a WHOLE lot more about the program, and thought this would be the place to sorta get started, bye the way, map looks really nice iced, eventually maybe ill be able to use it that way, again, my apologies.....
