The limit should be 50mb for RFA files, ZIP, RAR, etc. Movies are 20mb. Images are 5mb. And a few other limits, but who cares about TXT file size limits really. |

meeh The attachmentâs file size is too large, the maximum upload size is 2 MB. Please note this is set in php.ini and cannot be overridden. a winrar file that was. |

Oh uh, that's not PHPBB saying that, that's php itself. =/ I've seen like 7mb files uploaded before as WMV/AVI. How strange. I'll look into changing that. |

While trying to upload movie with 5.5mb filesize it fails and says it's to large. 4.9mb works. See for yourself But this was at old provider place. Has anything changed? |

You posted that right before I changed my limits upward, and tweaked what was considered a "video" or "archive" to PHPBB. I am allowing the same size limits as before, I mean, I have to use this bandwidth somehow! However, my host's php.ini might have UPLOAD_MAX_FILESIZE set to the default 2M, 2 megabytes. I could possibly changed this per-script if I try, and they don't have ini_set() locked out. They probably do though. But at least the hosts I use don't use php safe_mode, that would really suck! |
