Server Side Modding dot com is one of the BEST things to happen to the gaming community.

I thank each and every one of you participating in the sharing of SSM knowledge.

Because of this SSM website/forum, many gamers are now learning a great deal of information and techniques regarding the enhancement of many additional possibilities that can be done to the game to provide a wide variety of gaming fun.

To show my appreciation to the founders of this site and to all of you that help make it so good, I would like to help take this SSM community a step further to extend it's communications of data into the audio voice communication format.

We have a Ventrilo server with a few "Server Side Modding" channels that you are ALL welcome to use.

I have met a few of you in our ventrilo server and we were able to "talk" about SSM files and I was able to help them with their SSM questions by working together in real time and getting the files to work in the maps with the ideas they had.


After all, "talking" is better than typing.

is your server no longer online ? or only on specific times ? i downloaded ventrilo and tried to connect but i got an error message.

i copied the IP and the Port , so that cant be wrong i guess.
i checked the torubleshooting guide and checked my firewall.

What have i done wrong ?

must agree I thought this would be a great idea, kinda a verbal communications ring where 'instant' help could be found, but alas there was no server...

I have numerous spare boxes that I run projects on that I would be willing to run ventrillio, or ts on and it would always be up (granted no power or 'net interruptions happen).

but there would need to be people that know what they are doing pop in.

If there are some knowledgeable people willing to do that let me know and I would be more than happy to do it.

Nothing will be officially enforced by me as an "official" teamspeak/vent for this website, but feel free to use one if you need to talk to somebody. Although posting code is much easier than speaking it.
