I just got a new LCD, and I noticed that all websites using this forum and color scheme are missing the bg color for the threads. On my old CTR that was a light grey/blue bg that alternated each line. On my LCD I can bearly see the white divider lines if look real close. I still the blueish color on the right side, but the list of the threads/baords, its missing. Seems turning down the contrast helps a little. |

Hmm, try turning down the brightness? It might be washing out the subtle colors. If you have photoshop or even MsPaint, get a color-wheel open, and see if a section of colors that aren't supposed to be white, is. Like, in photoshop, open the color selector and click the "B" radio button to get this:

I tried that with a few apps and all the colors seem to be there. The monitor is supposed to display 16.2 M colors, so I don't see how it would be missing the color. That leads me to think its a setting (like brightness etc). I was mostly wondering if anyone else has an LCD and noticed and hopefully fix this. EDIT: Brightness had no effect (it just did exaclty what its supposed to do, make it lighter or darker with no sideeffects). Contrast help a little, I turned it down a litle and it became more visible, however, turning it down further did not help more. |
