2nd time in 7 months had to take apart whole pc wipe it down scrub it loose all smokey dust particles off surface mounts around fans and so on all around heat sink on cpu all up inside power supply nasty stuff. 3 hour job 
Ps I forgot how to dismount the hold fins to CPU sink thing on p4 !! Odd It doesn't feel like my power supply will catch fire any moment upon reboot. Mission accomplished 8O |

A $3 can of compressed air would have saved you a lot of time. My woman and I both smoke, and the computers get pretty nasty. Two minutes with a can of that stuff, and everything is good as new. Get the stuff with the water filtered out, or you will be in for heartbreak. 8O |
