We at Dead Meat use screen shots all the time. A few things we have learned.

What we do is ghost the suspect and when he is in a good position then take a screen shot of him, by that I mean wait till he is in a non-radar vehicle, or close to the other teams camp( where opposite team will likely be) or flying a non-radar equipped airplane or helicopter. Taking a screen shot blindly does no good what-so-ever.

If a guy disconnects every time you take a screen shot he may be on a Mac. I don't know why but Mac's don't like punkbuster screen shots and disconnect the person that is having a screen shot taken of them. This does not necessarily mean they are hacking.

If a screen shot comes back black that again is not necessarily a sign that he is cheating He could be honestly be Alt/Tabbed out or changing his controls and preferences. There are many reasons for a blank screen shot. Do a Google search.

The point being is Do Not accuse someone of Hacking without proof. Then when caught Castrate the Bastard. and submit him to Punksbusted and get him a global ban.

BTW for simple hacks such as using a wall hack sometimes we have our famous "Blue Light" special. That is where we inform everyone where he is and is allowed a free knifing prior to us banning him.

Very true about the black screenshots. It does not mean that they are hacking at all, and could just be corrupted internet or such.

There is one method 100% legal by PB that will make all screenshots turn black, and there is nothing you can do about it. It's related to compatibility mode in XP, but I won't give instructions.

depending on whats going down in gameplay ...

if a "superhero" comes back with weird screens repeatedly, we will send him home for the weekend.

so i assume your talking about the BFRSM function of right clicking a player, then hitting take screen shot? if so, where do the screen shots go? (like where are they saved, or do u have 2 go to a web page to view them?) and if you are not talking about the BFRSM screen shot function, what screen shot prog. is it?
