Wow, talk about misguided....... Alot of the reason that we get involved in many wars is that that country thats been attacked and they ask for our help. It strikes me that had you been alive in 1620 you would've ordered the Mayflower sunk before you'd let it come here.

This is the type of bullshit I hear from Europe all the time here. If anyone on these forums believes for one second that the average American Citizen, agrees with our government, even 90 percent of the time, you must rephrase your words.

Because although you may believe in your heart that every American citizen across the world believes that we should bomb and conquer our way to peace than you my friends are ignorant and out of touch. Did anyone here even happen to mention that for most of American history that the people of the United States do not agree with their government on any list of reasons?

Did anybody here mention the fact that although we elect our officials that after these people are brought into power, that we have no control on what policies he or she may support.

Did anybody here remember Woodstock? Anybody ever see the videos of Millions of Protestors outside the white house? Or even more recently the Democratic and Republican National Conventions? Did anybody ever remember the Civil Rights movements, or the marches for women's rights to vote? Does any European here remember the attack of unarmed civilians in the wading pool outside the Lincoln Memorial during the great depression? Or the labor movements of the past? Does anybody here even recognize the hundreds of millions of American citizens who do not support the War in Iraq, let alone the attacking of countries just to get a point across?

Does every European get filled with misguided images of America, either by friends, the internet or the news media, who twist the whole truth, and hide it from your eyes? Because honestly I am completely fed up with these talks of how bad American Citizens are, how stupid we may be, how unconsiderate of the world we are, because guess what Europe. That's a load of bullshit.

If you want to criticize anyone, criticize our leaders, not us, because we are not the ones waging these wars and operations, it is the uncontrollable government who is at fault. So save you ignorance for another time, and take some time to truly think about what you are saying. As I hold no grudge against Europe, but apparently every forum I visit, Europe holds something against us, and furthermore do not act as though your countries are innocent in anyway. If I must I will go down lists of European travesties, and aggressions over the course of human history, and enlighten you.

I know most people don't even bother anymore in US, but when they do, they have to select from 2 candidates.
Why are there only 2 parties to select from in US?
Doesn't sound very free.
One is so far right and otherone so far left.
No one to select from, when one is selected he turns 180 degree and do what ever he likes anyway.
Most countries have up to 10 differant parties and they are small countries.

As most people don't vote in america, why they don't have rule that says "Over 50% should vote otherwise it's not valid".
This is very strange for me that they havn't, becouse it's only two candidates to select from.

When I vote, I vote for someone I want to rule/lead me.
