I have some bad experience with "console games" on (ported) pc. Fable was an exeption tho. But then the consoles are quite powerful today with ok resolution and such so with a little luck it will come out good for us pc players to.

PC versions will always be the best versions of games, graphics quality, resolution, server speed, precision, and speed, the computer wins in all categories. Console versions are just watered down versions with the same content, but everything else takes a hit.

So don't worry, Battlefield 1943 will most likely be beautiful for PC, and its texture clarity will take a hit on the consoles. The servers will be faster, and I can guarantee that it will be more enjoyable on PC. Some have complained about the size of the games, 24 players on PC, but its a Pre-Alpha build so the idea that more players will be added in the future seems probable.

I think DICE is looking at the reactions its getting from E3, hopefully if BF1943 attracts enough attention at E3 2009, some expansion of the game may take place. I for one believe it will, a lot of die-hard fans including myself have wanted a sequel to 1942 for a long time, and even if the game in its current state isn't very promising, the shear number of people that react to the game at E3, and on the internet should be enough to convince some EA higher ups that giving DICE the rights to publish a much more polished version that isn't constrained to time limits may be in their best interest as a publisher. EA always wants more money, so perhaps the reaction could spark interest.

Doesn't look like much to anticipate too. I disliked the aiming style of both the weapons and the plane. I disliked the fact that the japanese sniper has a K98 and not an Arisaka. I don't like the infinite ammo and regeneration. I also disliked the widly colourful HUD display. The game itself seems to be brightly coloured, all the flags and icons flashing everywhere makes it cartoonish.

Sorry, not a sticker for me.

Did you guys forget where we are?! If the game sucks we'll mod it so it doesn't! Unless EA decides to screw us all over and not allow modding for BF:1943... but that would be absolutely retarded. They wouldn't do that to us, would they?
