here is a screenshot from my server. its seems ok at first, but if i zoom in the minimap i cant see any blue color there, only grey. shouldnt there be a clear blue dot on the minimap instead of grey?

Well, you have sample 4. Good luck see anything.

1 is the pixel you can see.
0 is pixels jumped over to make view on picture bigger.

Check my page for Punkbuster ScreenShots, and try the size and possition of it.
I think its way better then what you got there.
You can see what he see and most parts of minimap.
Biggest picture you can get form PB I think is 328x244, make the most of it.
You have settings 1280x1024 witch should return 320x256 in sample 4.
But due to 256 is to big and 1280x1024 isn't 4:3 ratio you got a small picture with wrong proportions.
If you still wanna stay with sample 4 try this resolution 1312x976 and see if it helps.

anybody know how to change the ban time in BFSM ? i cant change the timelimit of a ban afterwards so to speak, i can only put in perm bans.

i must have this low sample thing so i can see the uniforms/soldier icon in the lower left corner, there have been cheats that "only" change teams on the minimap, letting you see the opponent side and not your own team. much harder to detect me think.

Look in ServerBanList.con after you timeban yourself and exported list.
Then look in backup folder and see how it looks like,
do the same for the other person you wanna timeban and not perm ban.

In ServerBanList.con we find this line;

Here we have it.
Time he was banned 1183910427 (Sun Jul 08 17:00:27 2007)
Time when ban is ending for him 1183911027 (Sun Jul 08 17:10:27 2007)
Now how the hell to fix this?
This was a 10 minute ban or 600 sec.
As I can see it added 600 to 1183910427.
Have no clue at moment what that number is.

Calculator.......
1183910427 is about 13702 days and 37 years.
Could this time start it's counting 1970?

More calculator..............
Midnight tonight 1970 time would be......
37 years + 189 days + 9 days(leap year) = 13703(days) x 24 = 328872(hours) x 60 = 19732320(minutes) x 60 = 1183939200(seconds)
Or? Am I close here?

Why 1970?

So here's how to change time for this guy.
We give him a 1 hour stay out of server time, 3600 sec.
1183910427+3600=1183914027

Now he's banned for 1 hour.
Simple wasn't it!
